Sheri Metcalf, Artistic Director of Xtreme Dance Studio, started living her dream eight years ago. She opened Xtreme Dance Studio in Longwood and began teaching children of all ages the love of dance! Eight years later she is thrilled to announce the opening of her second location in Sanford’s brand-new Westwood Village.
“We’re not just teaching steps; we are giving our students tools and great memories that will last a lifetime,” says Sheri. “Making a positive difference in children’s lives through dance is our goal.”

Sheri has an extensive resume as a choreographer, teacher, and dancer. However, her greatest love is working with children. She was one of the choreographers on the Children’s TV hit Gullah Gullah Island and Dooley and Pals.

Xtreme Dance Studio is a full-service establishment, offering instruction for ages 18 months through adult, beginner through advanced, with a performance and competitive dance company.
